Sam’s Story

Sam D. is 13 years old and is from Boone, Iowa. He was diagnosed at the age of 3 with Medulloblastoma. He enjoys golf, choir, and gaming!

Sam has an incredibly positive attitude when it comes to dealing with his cancer. He chooses happiness and kindness and is a friend to everyone! Sam has never met a person that is not his friend, and he has an innate ability to talk to anyone he meets.

Being able to see sequoia trees and giant waterfalls is on his bucket list, so it is truly our honor to grant an MGCR at Yosemite stay to Sam and his family where he will see just that. Soak it all in while you’re there, Sam! We hope you enjoy every minute.
